Eda Ozmen

Eda is a certified yoga instructor and wellness coach focused on empowering young individuals to achieve the best version of themselves through specific mindfulness / yoga practices designed for children and youth and the social impact activities, such as board service, investing, mentoring, etc, to  develop these programs.

She has built a successful Kids Yoga program at the Lyons Den Power Yoga Studio and is an active board member of  Bent on Learning, a nonprofit that teaches yoga and mindfulness practices to New York City public school children.

She believes that all young people should have access to the benefits of yoga  and mindfulness as a way of creating a space within their lives where they can express themselves, build confidence, compassion and connection to themselves and others.

Originally from Reno, Nevada, she holds a BA in Business from the University of Nevada. Prior to moving to NYC, Eda worked for several non profit organizations including the National 4-H council, the largest positive youth development and mentoring program in the USA, to help them grow their resources to help reach more youth.

Eda spent 7 years with Tristan and was engaged to be married to the love of her life and best friend. She was constantly inspired by Tristan’s natural ability to make everyone he met feel special and his vigorous drive to pursue his passions, while giving back to the community.

Eda is a returning team member of the Blue Chip Basketball Camp where she will lead the yoga program as well as the community outreach.
